NYAH PROJECT HOSTS BESTSELLING AUTHOR WANI IRIS MANLY FOR CONNECT MIAMI EXPERIENCE

International bestselling author, Wani Iris Manly, and our past Nyah Fellows hosted an interactive discussion on how to connect across cultural lines and differences based on their travel experiences abroad.  

Fellows shared insights on creating meaningful connections based on first hand encounters with new cultures, unfamiliar experiences, and eventual friends during their leadership fellowships in international destinations, including Ghana, Costa Rica, South Africa and Namibia.

This session, Connecting Across Continents, was a featured Connect Miami experience, a 10 day community-wide challenge to connect across lines of difference powered by the Miami Herald, United Way, the Miami Foundation, Radical Partners & MCCJ.
